We believe pickleball is at its best when people are matched well, have opportunities to improve, and can enjoy the game in a positive, organized setting. From Open Play and leagues to clinics and pro instruction, everything at Peak is designed to help players play more, get better, and connect through the game.

Chris Kepko
General Manager & Head Teaching Professional
Chris is a Greensboro native and retired U.S. Navy veteran who brings decades of leadership, discipline, and coaching experience to Peak Pickleball. After a 26-year career in Naval Special Operations, including multiple overseas deployments and a Bronze Star for his service in Afghanistan, Chris turned his lifelong passion for sports toward pickleball.
Now a Certified Pickleball Teaching Professional with over four years of experience, Chris is also a competitive tournament player in men’s and mixed doubles. He loves helping players of all ages and skill levels grow their game and get more out of their time on the court.
Leah Cattanach
Director of Pickleball & Assistant Head Teaching Pro
Leah is the Director of Pickleball and Assistant Head Teaching Pro at Peak Sports Greensboro. After playing tennis for over three decades, Leah discovered pickleball in 2021 through Chris Kepko’s Pickleball 101 class and quickly became passionate about the game. She has since medaled in multiple tournaments in both women’s and mixed doubles and earned her Certified Teaching Pro designation in 2023. Leah loves helping players grow their skills and enjoy the game, and you will often find her on the courts alongside her husband, Ian, who shares her enthusiasm for pickleball.


Rick Dodson
PPR Certified Teaching Professional
Rick Dodson is a PPR Certified Teaching Professional at Peak Sports Greensboro. Originally from Western Pennsylvania, Rick relocated to Greensboro after 26 years in South Florida, where he discovered pickleball in 2018 and quickly became immersed in the sport. He has competed in tournaments and earned medals in both men’s and mixed doubles.
With a background in business consulting and a natural coaching style, Rick enjoys helping players of all levels build confidence, improve technique, and enjoy the game more. He brings energy, patience, and a sense of fun to every lesson and session on the court.
John Haviland
PPR Certified Teaching Professional
John Haviland is a PPR Certified Teaching Professional at Peak Sports Greensboro. He grew up in Honeoye Falls, New York, and earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Springfield College. With more than 26 years of teaching experience and 27 years of coaching basketball, soccer, and baseball, John brings deep knowledge of skill development and athletic performance to the court.
He has been playing pickleball for over a decade and became certified in the spring, turning his long-standing passion for the game into a profession. When he is not teaching or playing, John enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.


Anna Marino
PPR Certified Coach
Anna Marino grew up in Clemmons, North Carolina, where she developed her love for sports through softball. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy while continuing to play competitively in college. After graduation, Anna discovered pickleball and quickly found a new passion that grew from a hobby into a full-time career in pickleball programming.
Today, Anna is focused on helping grow the game and supporting players of all levels at Peak Sports Greensboro. When she is not on the court, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Marlowe
Devin Williams
PPR Certified Coach
Devin Williams is a Summerfield native who has been involved in sports his entire life. After playing basketball at Northern Guilford High School, he discovered pickleball and quickly became dedicated to the game. He later spent two ski seasons in Utah, staying active in a wide range of outdoor sports before returning to North Carolina.
Devin now balances his role as a sales representative for Cheerwine with his growing involvement in pickleball at Peak Sports Greensboro. When he is not on the court, he can usually be found fishing or floating down the river.
